At the age of 79, he made his first recording and at 82 he has enjoyed performances around his home in Virgilina, VA, as well as Lincoln Center and Europe.
Love Letters
Friday September 24, 7:30
Love letters were once the fashion. Take a step back with Wendy and Allen Fuller as they bring to life A.R. Gurney's PULITZER PRIZER nominated play. The play centers on just two characters, Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd lll. Using the epistolary form sometimes found in novels, they sit side by side at tables and read the notes, letters and cards- in which over nearly 50 years they discuss their hopes and dreams, ambitions and disappointments. Celebrating their own wedding anniversary, Wendy and Allen present this as a fund - raising gift to the Prizery.
