Designed to meet the needs of Charlotte, Halifax, Mecklenberg and Pittsylvania Counties and the City of Danville, the Workforce Forward 2011 Forum's speakers will present data and foster dialog leading to deliverables that help move the region forward.
The Honorable Mary Rae Carter, Deputy Secretary of Commerce and Trade for Rural Economic Development will present the keynote address. Chris Chmura, of Chmura Economics and Analytics, will explain trends and projections from her research report on education, employment and economic development in Southern Virginia.
