The Children of Eden

Children of Eden is a musical based on the first nine chapters of the
book of Genesis, from Adam & Eve to Noah & the Flood. Stephen Schwartz
composed the score and John Caird wrote the book.
Children of Eden is a frank, heartfelt, and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children. Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, and Noah and the ‘Father’ who created them all deal with making decisions and taking responsibility for those actions.
A deeply humanistic work of faith, Children of Eden appeals to both religious and non-religious audiences. The music by Stephen Schwartz is a mixture of pop, folk, rock, reggae, gospel, Broadway, and powerful choral moments. This is one voyage that you will want to make again and again.
