Summer Theatre Camp - Two Week Camp! Dates: July - 21 - 25 and July 28 - August 1, Monday through Friday Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon (Ages 7-11) 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Ages 12 and up) Cost: $150 for two week camp includes: Ten 3 hour sessions in music, dance and acting plus Summer Theatre Camp t-shirt and end of camp performance and party Instructors: Lori Reaves and Jill Bradley Folk Music Camp Dates: June 16 - 20, Monday through Friday - Time: 9 - 12 noon Age: Ages 7 and up Cost: $75 for one week camp includes: Five 3 hour sessions learning Irish, and traditional American folk music, some traditional Irish dance and instrument introduction. Instructors: Julee Glaub and Mark Weems of the traditional music duo "Little Windows" Chinese Language Camp - Two Week Camp! Dates: June 2-13 from 12:45p.m.-2:45p.m. Cost: $60.00 per child which includes materials. Age: Children age 5-12 with little or no knowledge of Chinese are introduced to everyday spoken Chinese and the simplified forms of Chinese characters. Students will learn about Chinese culture and be introduced to the Chinese art of calligraphy, paper folding and dance. This Chinese camp will be fun and interactive using course materials appropriate to elementary school children. Ms. Wang will take a maximum of 20 students. Violin Camp - Concentrated 2 hour sessions in the Suzuki Method for a total of 10 hours of expert instruction. Teacher, Kevin Yen string instructor at Meredith College, returns to The Prizery to work with beginning and intermediate students. The Prizery encourages students who have no experience with the violin to participate. June 9 - 13, 2008 Cost - $150 - students already owns a violin Cost - $180 - if student needs to rent a violin. Ages - 5 and up Time - 10:00 a.m - 12 noon Time - 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Susi’s Puppets, Crafts and More Date: June 16 - 19 Time: 9:00 -12 noon Age: 4 - 6 years of age Description - An art experience for the young that includes making puppets with fabric and found objects. Also creating tissue paper art and more! Cost: $70 includes all supplies Instructor: Susi Robbins Susi’s Mask Making Date: June 23 - 26 Time: 9:00 - 12 noon Age: 8 and up Description: Learn how to create a mask from another culture. Also make your favorite animal mask with cardboard, paint and other found objects! Cost: $70 includes all supplies Instructor: Susi Robbins Susi’s Christmas in July- Crafts Date: July 7 - 10 Time: 9:00 - 12 noon Age: 8 and up Description: Create crafts for Christmas, gifts and decorations, card making and box folding! Cost: $70 includes all supplies ( bring a couple of old ornaments to spruce them up!)
